It’s 2 weeks until the cream of the crop in world class skiers and snowboarders come to town for the biggest and best event in the UK’s snow calendar. The Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival takes over the iconic Battersea Power Station in London for 2 days of music, snow sports and the Ultimate Apres Ski Party.As well as the snow sports there is an equally as huge music line up. The Energy Sessions Bar sponsored by Relentless Energy Drink will host some of the hottest acts in hip hop, dub step and breaks. Scratch Perverts and Jacob Plant headline, with support from Jay Da Funk, Plastic Thumbs, Urban Knights, Phuture Funk, Crooked Cats, Loud Minority and Bearface Natty.

The Desperados Factory plays host to Shy FX and Ms. Dynamite , they will also be joined by The Nextmen, Deekline and Major Look on Friday with Raf Daddy and Murkage on Saturday. You will also have the chance to see the Rebel Bingo party unfold during the day and the amazing Duke playing alongside resident DJs.

Headlining the festival and the main stage is DJ Shadow, Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash and A-Yo (Mark Ronson & Zane Lowe). Also playing are Stanton Waarriors, DJ E Z, Snatch the Wax DJs, Astroid Boys ans The Beat Medics & Benny.

The O’Neil cinema will be screening some of the biggest now films of 2012, including Standard Films 2112, Superheroes of Stoke, Unique B, and Further which is presented my the man himself, Jeremy Jones.Freeze takes on a new direction for 2012 with the creation of an Invitational Snowboard Event. Snowboarding at Freeze will now be open to any rider – allowing an unrestricted field to the UK’s only international snowboard event. With a growing list of amazing riders, the line up so far includes Gjermund Braaten, Jamie Nicholls, the Helgason Brothers, Kevin Backstrom, Marko Grilc, Staale Sandbech, Victor De Le Rue and so many more.

In addition to the International event, is the Battle of Britain Competitions which will see our home grown talent go up against each other and battle it out for the title. The Ski competition is on the Friday, with the Snowboarding on the Saturday.

As well as the 35m high slope and 5 music stages, you will find the retail village stocked with the latest 12/13 gear and a huge selection of food and apres style bars to keep you entertained throughout the day. Freeze tip: Look out for the free photo booths!
