Mauritius is an island located off the coast of Africa. It’s famous for being one of the most beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean, if not the entire world. It’s also home to some of the rarest plant and animal specimens in the world.

What’s even more amazing is what’s located underneath the water….. When viewed from high above, you can actually see what appears to be a waterfall. Honestly, if you didn’t know better, you would actually think it’s real. But that’s just your eyes playing trick on you.

Science rears it’s all-knowing head and tells us that sand and silt sink farther and father into the ocean giving off the waterfall illusion. But the view pretty awesome, check it out….

All very nice, but do they have anything that is as awe-strikingly good as Blackpool’s lights?

Still no sign of any lights to rival those of Blackpool.

Another cool looking place for the bucket list.
