Kanye West unexpectedly called a halt to his gig in Sydney when he saw an audience member was not stood up and dancing to the music. Then he realised the fan was in a wheelchair.

The rapper was on stage during his Yeezus tour when he allegedly caused a kafuffle by stopping proceedings because he saw that a couple of crowd members were not dancing along with the rest of them.

He bellowed to the audience: ‘I can’t do this song, I can’t do this show until everybody stand up.

‘Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t.’

The situation got more embarrassing when Kanye realised that one of his targets had a prosthetic limb. The star went on to say ‘This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable.’

Another concert goer then tweeted  “I have a three minute video of Kanye waiting for a guy in a wheelchair to stand up”

Kanye went as far as sending one of his guards to double check that the fan in question was indeed in a wheelchair. Not surprisingly some unimpressed people took to Twitter to vent their thoughts on the subject.

UPDATE: We’ve found a video of it, so much cringing!!

Oh dear Kanye, oh dear…
