They just can’t behave themselves can they. Ken Morley has become the second person to be removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house, his crime being ‘unacceptable and offensive language’. It comes days after Jeremy Jackson was also removed from the show.
The 71-year-old, famous(ish) for his eccentric ways on Coronation Street, was removed after using the term ‘n***o’ during a chat with Alexander O’Neal.
He had also rubbed people up the wrong way after asking Michelle Visage if she would ‘violently f***’ Calum Best and telling female housemates: ‘This is the best place to look at arses in the world.’
Channel 5 said in a statement: ‘Ken Morley has been removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house for using unacceptable and offensive language following his formal warning.
‘Tuesday’s eviction is now cancelled and lines are now closed. Anyone who has already voted will be able to apply for a full refund and details will be available on the Big Brother website within 24 hours.’
Communications watchdog Ofcom said 233 people had complained about the actor’s behaviour, while it had also received two complaints about offensive language used by Katie Hopkins. If you’re annoying more people than Katie Hopkins then you’re probably doing something wrong.
Here is the incident that sparked all the outrage.
