This is funny, so long as you don’t have that doomed combination of an Apple watch and a wrist tattoo, then it’s probably not such a giggle.

People have been taking to Reddit to reveal that the ink in their tattoo is stopping the watch from recognising that it is being worn. If the watch can’t see the skin of its wearer, it will presume it has been taken off and lock itself.

The wrist detection can be turned off, but this makes the watch less secure and also stops it being used for sensitive features like Apple Pay.
